The Buffalo Chamber Players announces their 1st annual Composition Competition. Composers may submit chamber works for 3-8 players from the following instrumentation: fl/ob/cl/bcl/bsn/hn/tpt/tbn/btbn/tba/2 vln/vla/vc/cb. The work should be between 7-10 minutes in duration. The winner’s work will be premiered during the final concert of the BCP 2011-2012 concert season on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Winners are required to attend the premiere.

Please send: score, entry fee, recording if available (MIDI realizations are acceptable) and a sealed envelope containing an information sheet with the work's title, composer's name, brief biography, address, telephone, and email. Include SASE for return of materials. Materials must be received by February 1, 2012.
